Hello,My Xbox360 slim don't got a HDD (just the standard 4gb) and I tried using a regular SanDisk 16gb pendrive to instal my Borderlands' (Game of the Year Edition) DLC that comes up on the disc 2. When I put the disc in it just say I need a hard drive to instalit, insert a HDD and continue. All the pendrives I configured for the Xbox get a message that it may have performance problems when loading games, etc., is that why it's not possible to use those pendrives to store/install the DLC?Here on this link it says that USB Flash Drive may hold game data, xbox 360 games, and on demand games, butdon't give any details on the performance issue.Sooo help anyone please? Thanks. Hello gamer,Not all brands or types of USB drives can be used with Xbox 360 that is why a Microsoft HDD is a better choice.

Hello Tuzap77,Downloading Full Xbox Live games on USB FlashDrives not recommended by Xbox could by the problemXbox's personal USB flash stick is made by SanDisk, however using a regular SanDisk flash drive could potentially be causing you to have performance issues. If the USB storage device does not work at all, then there was a problem accessing the device (for example, it is faulty or write-protected) or it failed the Xbox 360 integrity check.
If the USB storage device is configured, but a performance warning isdisplayed, it’s due to the Xbox 360 requiring a higher level of sustained performance than most PC uses.Although there are members who use an external FlashDrive to play online, to use it as a primary source for all your downloadable content puts a substantial amount of pressure on the FlashDrive.Follow this link here for more information on FlashDrive support.
